Smirnoff  | Selected Works

Client: Smirnoff

Agency: Born Social

Role: Creative, Art Director, Copywriter

Year: 2026
Smirnoff set out to strengthen its position as the life of the party on social, becoming a brand people follow for the content as much as the product. Moving beyond a single occasion, our ambition was to show up wherever good times happen, from nights out and festivals to spontaneous moments at home.

Through selected always-on content, standout product launches and reactive social across markets, we created a connected social presence, with every execution contributing to one unified story: Smirnoff is the brand that brings the party, wherever and whenever it happens. Keeping the brand culturally relevant, magnetic and at the heart of the good times.

SminiS Pack Launch
(US Market)
Smirnoff tasked us with launching its new Espresso Martini SminiS Variety Pack, driving awareness, showcasing its distinctive packaging and positioning multipacks as an easy way to discover and enjoy cocktails anywhere.

Recognising that audiences don't consume social campaigns linearly, but dip in and out, discovering individual pieces of content along the way, we saw an opportunity to create multiple entry points into the same story rather than relying on chronological chapters.

Our response was a layered, social-first approach combining planned organic and reactive content to build momentum beyond launch. Rooted in the idea that Smini is the little spark that ignites the best moments, we set out to turn familiar occasions into something more.

Using performance learnings from Meta, we identified carousels as a strong-performing format and carried this into the launch. We created a visually engaging carousel, spotlighting the pack and ingredients, paired with playful, social-first copy to make each post feel native to the platform and inherently shareable.
We tapped into the trending ‘Firefighter Mode’ format, blending organic storytelling with familiar social trends to create culturally relevant content that felt native to the feed, rather than like traditional brand advertising.

Smirnoff, Always On Social
(Global and GB Market)
Tasked with delivering always-on social across Global and GB for summer, we set out to put Smirnoff at the heart of party culture. Tapping into cultural behaviours, relatable party truths and the small rituals that make a moment, we created social-first content that felt familiar, playful and relevant to the audience, naturally weaving the product into the story.

Distinctiveness came through the creative use of Smirnoff's KBAs, from recognisable red cues and considered styling to reimagining the iconic Smirnoff Eyebrow as a visual device for framing moments and propelling messages. Through playful formats and unexpected product integrations, we found fresh ways to spotlight the fun, celebrate connection and bring the spirit of the party to life without relying on consumption-led messaging.

Smirnoff Reactive Social
(Global and GB markets)
Our reactive approach ladders back to the overarching creative strategy, using cultural trends and relatable truths to make Smirnoff part of the conversations already happening.

By tapping into shared behaviours, occasions and moments of recognition, we create content that drives engagement, builds affinity and sparks genuine fan love. Because people don't follow brands on social simply for their products; they follow brands that make them feel seen, understood and part of something. Our ambition is to build fandom by showing up in the moments that matter to our audience, not just the moments that matter to us.
